The Ecolodge — Unique Holiday Rental in Foix, Ariège
Perfect for recharging, enjoying an extended romantic weekend, working remotely, or exploring the Ariège for a week in summer. Shared family swimming pool open in July and August.
The Ecolodge is nestled at the far end of the estate, approximately 60 metres from the main house. It offers a truly immersive nature experience at the gateway to the Parc Régional des Pyrénées Ariégeoises. It was designed by an Ariège-based cooperative that chose eco-friendly construction methods, using local resources wherever possible. This unique and original creation blends the conviviality of a yurt with the warmth of a mountain chalet. Built entirely from wood and raised on stilts, it offers stunning views over the estate through large openings.
At the Heart of Nature
Spanning 25 m², it comprises a main open-plan room with a fitted kitchen, a small bedroom, and a bathroom. Its spacious terrace is perfect for enjoying long summer evenings. Access to the gîte is on foot only, to ensure a peaceful and serene environment. A car park is available approximately one hundred metres away, and a small trolley is provided for transporting luggage. Very cosy and equipped with all modern comforts, the Ruffié Ecolodge is ideal for recharging or enjoying a romantic extended weekend. Wi-Fi is provided free of charge (the property has fibre optic broadband), making remote working easily possible. There is no television.

The Kitchen
The fitted kitchen has everything you need: refrigerator, oven, cooking utensils, a press and soft-capsule coffee machine, and ample storage space.
The Bathroom
The bathroom features a shower, WC, washbasin, and washing machine.
The Bedroom
The bedroom is separated from the living room by sliding pocket doors. Small and cosy, it features a 140 x 190 cm bed, a window, and storage space. A true home-away-from-home retreat.
Remote Working Corner
Facing the window, a console table provides the perfect spot for your laptop — ideal for combining a relaxing extended weekend with remote working. Free Wi-Fi included.
The Lounge Area
For a quick nap or a quiet reading moment, a comfortable sofa and footstool are waiting for you!
The Terrace
Set in the heart of the estate, the round chalet features a large terrace with a table and chairs — perfect for enjoying long evenings in complete privacy.
