At dawn this morning, I was delighted to see the doe and her fawn grazing peacefully in our park... no time to take a photo, they fled very quickly.
It's always a thrill to catch them...rare moments, because these animals are very shy and will scurry away at the slightest noise or even the slightest movement near your house. You probably won't see them this summer, but they are there at night, and you can see the traces of their passage. This photo was taken from the windows of our Barguillère gîte a few years ago (these are roe deer).
